Domestic Violence Division, DC Courts

The Domestic Violence Division renovation included new office space, a shared conference room, a dedicated courtroom and jury room, and public corridors. The renovation of the Domestic Violence Courtroom would serve as the "mock-up" for all future courtroom renovations for the District of Columbia Superior Court. Quality management was integral to the process for not only this specific project, but for all future courtroom renovations. ASAP LLC was, again, happy to lend a professional hand in ensuring the delivery of a superior courtroom space.
Moultrie Courthouse 2nd Floor West Renovation

The 2nd Floor West Renovation of the Moultrie Courthouse is a multi-phased, all encompassing renovation which aims to modernize the District of Columbia Superior Court. It includes the renovation of the public spaces, the buildout of 4 state-of-the-art courtrooms, and the associated jury rooms and holding facilities. ASAP LLC leaned on it's wealth of experience in providing the Court with expert Quality management services. The project is ongoing and will complete in early 2017.
DC Court Marriage Bureau
Completed 2016
The new Marriage Bureau at the District of Columbia Courthouse was completed in the summer of 2016. The renovation provided an updated administrative transaction counter, a new chapel for services, and back of the house office space. ASAP LLC again provided Quality and CM services on this project to help usher the project to a successful completion.
410 E St. Core & Shell/Interior Renovations
Completed 2012
The renovation of 410 E St. included the full gut of a historic building in Washington DC's Judiciary Square. It was a major focal point of the District of Columbia Superior Court's master plan to revitalize the area. The building now houses the Court's IT Division, mediation rooms, and training facilities for the Court. The project earned LEED Gold from the USGBC. ASAP LLC provided Quality Consulting services to the Court in order to ensure that the product was equal to the price tag and the importance for the Client.
DC Court Arraignment Court
Completed 2012
The DC Court Arraignment Court was a new buildout in an existing building which provided the DC Court with a new courtroom in which to conduct arraignments. The project consisted of high end millwork, state of the art audio visual systems, and detention facilities for pre-trial holding. The project combined a unique combination of high end finish work with detention grade (per USMS Publication 64 regulations) support facilities. ASAP LLC provided Quality services which helped facilitate a high end, yet functional product.
Moultrie Courthouse C St. Addition

The Moultrie Courthouse C St. Addition is a multi-phased LEED Platinum (projected) project which aims to greatly increase the functional capabilities of the District of Columbia Superior Court. Included within the addition are six new state-of-the-art courtrooms and supporting judge's chambers, administrative office space, a sprawling atrium that allows ample daylight into the building, and of course the supporting infrastructure. The project is complicated by it's phasing which is dictated by funding. The first phase of the project (completed in February of 2015) was completed by one general contractor and the ensuing phases were awarded to a different general contractor. Bridging the gaps between old contractor and new contractor is one of the main hurdles as we connect the old building to the new building. The project is scheduled to be complete in 2020.

Our Company
ASAP, LLC is a Washington, D.C. area based, multi-disciplinary Small Business providing clients with construction, project, and quality management services for renovation, repair, rehabilitation, expansion and new construction projects to include government, commercial, and residential facilities (public and private sector) and related infrastructure. ASAP was founded in 2004 and proudly represents its clients with a strong knowledge base which is rooted in both educational and in-field training. In particular, ASAP prides itself in our Quality Management services as that is where we got our start.
Quality Management
ASAP began as a single service Quality Management consultant on government capital construction projects. We provide clients with the assurance that they get what they pay for. We do this with daily site visits, detailed project documentation, in-depth knowledge of project scope and specifications, and review of RFI's and submittals. ASAP employees are certified in US Army Corp of Engineers (USACE) and Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Construction Quality Management (CQM).
Construction Management
At ASAP we have specialized knowledge and requisite training to provide clients with expert guidance and leadership in all construction matters from initial planning to project close-out and everything in between. We believe that the execution of a construction project is only as good as the preceding planning stage. We use Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling techniques, follow the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA) practices throughout the project, and employ a combination of analogous and parametric estimating for cost management efforts.
